On 06 August 2024, Yashaswi Fish Meal and Oil Company, in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries at Malpe Harbour and local fishermen’s associations, participated in a community cleaning drive at Malpe Fishing Harbour. The initiative aimed to promote environmental responsibility, raise awareness about marine pollution, and enhance the overall hygiene and operational conditions of the harbour.
The event brought together fishermen, departmental staff, and company representatives to actively clean the harbour area, remove waste, and implement better waste management practices.
