On 29 August 2024, faculties from the Agriculture and Forestry University, Nepal, along with representatives from the College of Fisheries and officials from the Department of Fisheries, visited Yashaswi Fish Meal and Oil Company. The visit provided an opportunity for academic and industry leaders to explore practical operations, exchange knowledge, and discuss strategies for sustainable fisheries development.
During the tour, the delegation visited the company’s fish meal and oil production facility, observing the processes involved in responsible sourcing, production, and quality control. The team engaged in detailed discussions on best practices for fishery management, value chain traceability, and environmentally sustainable methods that ensure long-term resource conservation.
