Karnataka State FIP Felicitates Fishermen for Rescuing Whale Shark

On 05 October 2024, the Small Pelagic Purse Seine Fisheries – Karnataka State Fishery Improvement Project (FIP), in association with the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) and the Department of Fisheries, organized a felicitation ceremony to honor fishermen who successfully rescued a whale shark that had been accidentally caught during fishing operations.
