On 20 June 2023, representatives from Yashaswi and Eurasia met with Dr. Nicola Clark, Impact Manager at MarinTrust, and Libby Woodhatch, Executive Chair of MarinTrust, during their visit to Thailand. The meeting provided an important platform to exchange insights and strengthen relationships with key leaders in the global seafood certification and sustainability community.
The discussion focused on the Karnataka State Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) initiative, highlighting progress made so far and identifying opportunities for further development. Both teams shared perspectives on enhancing responsible sourcing practices, improving fishery management, and aligning the initiative with international sustainability benchmarks.
