On 01 February 2025, the Karnataka State Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) proudly showcased its pioneering work on the exploration of mesopelagic fish resources during the CMFRI Foundation Day celebrations held in Kochi. The event provided an excellent platform for the FIP team to present their ongoing research, field surveys, and early findings related to mesopelagic fish, a promising yet underexplored marine resource with significant potential for sustainable utilization.
