On 23 October 2023, representatives from Yashaswi and Eurasia met with senior officials from MarinTrust during the IFFO event in South Africa. The delegation held discussions with Mr. Francisco, CEO of MarinTrust; Ms. Nicola Clark, Impacts Manager; and Ms. Libby Woodhatch, Co-Chair of MarinTrust. During the session, the Yashaswi and Eurasia teams provided a detailed update on the progress of the Karnataka State Fishery Improvement Project (FIP), highlighting completed assessments and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
